ecmn | 500 hrs on my first year with 8660. Super easy maintenance, lots of great features for the trans and engine. Treated me well so far for a back lot special. 100% my next tractor will be another Massey.at 4k hours had to put in a couple couplers in the hydraulics but that was cheap and easy, had to put on one def line and one pto valve.
My dad uses the throttle to run trans on the road with wagons where I like to have a couple cruise speeds set.
For round baling engine speed is set with a preset, transmission in pedal mode, bale full take foot off pedal.
On the planter I have headland management on the buttons on the joystick. Top button lifts planter and changes speed or what ever I need , bottom button drops planter and resumes planter speed.
Grain cart I use stick mode, one cruise for across the field and one for under combine. | |
