Thanks for the insight, I do agree that the Montag system is very simple and I think that’s a lot of the reason I’m frustrated with not being able to get it to work well.

We don’t have an oil cooler on it so that’s something no can look into. I take all of the balls out every year and wash them as well as completely wash out the tank and meter.

We do run Potash in our blend, had to run TSP as our phosphate this year and it was not a good product, typically run MAP and have less issues with it but still enough that it’s a problem.

No scale on our machine, I know that would make it easier. We do the catch test to calibrate, it worked well with our old Fargo Aire machine and I don’t think there’s any reason it shouldn’t work well with the Montag but we certainly struggle with calibration.
