| As mentioned listeria bacteria is from the soil not specific to any type of mould. Common in fermented feed. It likes the wet environment and abundance of sugars. Sheep and goats are by far more susceptible to it. Here it’s easier to keep dirt out at harvest then it is to try and treat once it shows up. At best 50% survival here. Vet says it could take an animal up to two weeks from ingestion to show signs. Prevention is best but Yes dilution is the solution too. | |
