Macoupin county Illinois | i've had 4 get listeriosis that i can think of, 2 in a lot on dry feed and 2 on lush pasture in the spring with wet weather. vet always recommended la 200 at somewhat normal rates, and vitamin b. lost 2 of them, One of the survirors was flat on her side in the feedlot, drug her out with a tractor and after treatment she was up and going again in 3 or 4 days. the other survivor never amounted to much, but i didn't have to bury her , so i considered that a win. I;ve never had a listeriosis problem with cattle on silage. | |
