Western illinois | I can share my experience with tracks. I had a 2wd 2188 in 2004. Mud was horrible and I had 300 acres of beans left and just couldn’t go with 30.5s. I found an old steel set of Grip Tracks not far away and mounted them. I went right over the ruts I made the day before and went on to finish my beans. I was amazed at the floatation those tracks provided. The down side is they are slow. I had a 2 sp hydro which really helped. I got permission to take it on the road, but it was a slow, rough ride. I have no experience with floater tires, but tracks are the real deal. | |
