Glasgow, Ky | Really enjoyed your post. A majority of folks in the US are spoiled and ungrateful, myself included. Your story about the lady seeing all the bread was touching. We are a nation of whiners and complainers, even farmers have been drawn into the frey as we see plenty of it on AgTalk. Compared to other countries we are blessed. Look at the number of people in the world who would give anything to live here vs the number who leave and go to another country. Those from south of the border come here and do the crap work a majority of the citizens of our country will not do because its too hard.
Just look at farming. Where else in the world do they have the equipment, markets and infrastructure we have? One day we will long fr the days we complain about now. The thing that would help our country more than anything is an attitude adjustment. That will happen and there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
