Lake Park Iowa

To  make a shivvers really work as well as possible.  Put a level dry with a wet bin feeding it on demand.  Then you can keep it level and have uniform drying.  A two auger shivvers with a level dry, we have very uniform drying.  Put a bigger bin up than you think you will need with a full floor and air.  We put up a 15,000 bushel wet bin for a 27 foot shivvers bin with a 30 horse fan and heater. We run a double barrel from wet bin to shivvers. Then you can harvest more bushels during the day and not worrying about adding corn during the night or very early morning.  We have been tweeking  ours since 1981.   A level dry with wet holding  will make life so much easier for you.
