had one blow in the shed sometime last winter. was an old michelin and that tread looked pretty good.
Have Michelin’s on my highway tractor, lots of tread left but old and weather checked, have had 4 sidewalls blow out now. Not just the set that’s on it, found a couple matching ones to replace ones that let go and one of those has done the same thing.
Had a 445 Bridgestone on a wagon let go this summer too. I was in the shop and it was out in the yard but it sure got my attention. Wagon was sitting empty. |
Lucked out this tire didn’t blow going down the road.
