I’ve had several blow while setting with no weight on them. Even had the spare on the stock trailer blow last summer. I asked dad if he heard it blow. He said that’s what the seas though someone shot a shotgun early Sunday morning.
I’ve also ran tires, not on the road, that the tread was completely gone for years.
Lucked out this tire didn’t blow going down the road.
