You can feed once a day, but you may back calves down to what they clean up in 30 minutes, just so you don’t have anyone over consuming. Also, your mix should balance with your grass hay, so it should have some significant protein for young calves. I would also put some calcium carbonate, or sodium bicarbonate in the mix just to be safe if you are pushing grain, or are using wheat/barley/oats/ground corn. Read there stools and watch for dirty butts to see if you’re having digestive upsets.
