Ft. Ripley MN | They get tmr at night. Fill the bunks. We top dress the bunks with grain morning and at night. They clean the bunks during the day and most of its cleaned up by evening chores.
It’s a lot more work but I think the animals are better Kept and healthier.
Your checking on them twice a day and can treat a sick animal sooner.(Big deal I think in baby calves in the spring.)
Cattle will find the darnedest ways to get hurt or die… being out there more often will prevent a lot of this… | |
