Nebraska aka the boondocks | There was a discussion here a couple months ago, cans or will usda print a 179 on corn…. Come January it may be close. As we all know, fertilizer has doubled in many cases, there will be more beans next year, amd most likely less corn. Is that what we hang out hats on? The soil moisture profile is filling and the carries are now in the range so that we can hear predictions of 2.4b corn carries. Things are looking heavy, imo. Perhaps the fertilizer shortage/ price issue will be key, but that is hard to know at this point.
Edit, I was going to respond to zenfarms post but it disappeared. I would agree, I don’t thing the price of fertilizer will be a big factor, a shortage would be more significant.
