West Chazy, New York
Whole shelled corn stores well. Roll it coming out. Ground or rolled going in, or ground ear corn has been known to hang up on one side when the unloader is running and buckle the structure by putting too much weight on one side. I have seen a metal silo collapse from it, which is a real mess. It's usually not a problem with poured concrete silos.
