Mid TN | Never lived anywhere but on farm. Row crop and cow/calf operation. Kids are growing and Wife has another farm 22 miles away with a little bigger house. Not many acres. Would be just cattle only acres. Would be a big transition for me and I'm worried about the the operation I already have. Not living on site, thieves, a midnight call about cattle are out( which never happens now) but then I would be at least 30 minutes away before I could get here.. The worry list goes on. Just curious how many others live off farm and how it's worked for them? | |
