Doesn’t anyone ever eat at home anymore? .

Sometimes I wonder why people even have kitchens in there homes, more meals out than home cooked.

What is different now , Women/Moms pretty much all work and now get paid as well as men.
Interest rates for savers/borrowers ridiculously low
Higher % of farmers & working class who really are well off
On down side everything is expensive today from labor to inputs to parts

Something that is forgotten that before Russian Grain robbery in early '70's corn was $1 for ever, Beans $2.75 and farms generally were small mixed farming just scrapping by and then high prices, high inflation, optimism ,"buy it now or you will never get another chance or this cheap' or 'they are not making any new land' and then 1980's came interest rates 20% + , land values dropped 50% , new and used machinery prices dropped, wide spread bankruptcy by business, farm dealers ,farmers, banks failed in US , hard to borrow money, ect.

If we had a repeat of 1980-1985 it would bankrupt 75% of all of us.....Guessing presently we are at the 1978 stage
