I have several shucking pegs that my Dad had, one is what I used when I helped shuck corn.  My Dad could shuck 100 bushels a day in good corn. I bought a JD corn picker in 1955 because  I got tired of shucking.  Also we had to hoe the weeds out of the corn and beans.
