I can not say one way or the other, mainly because she did not get tested, but she did get sick.
As I said, the wife got the shot, her second dose was at the end April.
She had this hacking cough and headache for about 2 weeks, and that was about a week before our daughter tested positive.
Did the wife get it and it was mild? And then give it to us? I have read about shedding of covid, did that happen?
To many Unknowns........that do not really matter.
Just be prepared with what you think you will need.
