Subject: RE: Aluminum Trailer Rim Siezed Onto Hub

I have heard many “uses” like that for coca-cola. That I hesitate drinking it. (It’s my 4rh choice of soda). I have never heard of one so bad. My go to was 2x6 tight across as much of rim inside. (Hope well braced tight) 10 lb sledge as hard as I can swing flat.
There are gasket type plastic to separate different metals. I have not used them, but seen them. Myself I would put inside on, tighten, torque, drive around block, re-torque then do outside.
