Years ago had a field that was loaded with ragweed. I had to go slow, and used the reel just slow enough, so as it pushed the weeds over a bit, like on a pushbar on a haybine. It feed more even, and with less wads, than having the reel pull all the weeds into the header. Once I got the thing set, I never plugged the header, or the combine.
