Central KS | I have setup a couple drills with an Ag Leader STMM and it works ok. Your limitation is going to be number of rows as a STMM caps out at 36 I believe. I did a 50 ft Great Plains box drill and installed a total of 6 Dickey John sensors (2 on each end of the section box). I had Ag Express make me a custom cable to get that to the STMM and I built it as a 6 row planter if I am remembering correctly. The customer wanted it mostly for knowing when his boxes were empty.
I have also installed a Dickey John ISO blockage system that also works decent. I believe number of rows isn't as much of an issue there. | |
