SW Iowa | I have a 15' GP drill with the hitch I think you're talking about... and agree it's pretty much a torture device getting hooked/unhooked.
If you try it with a pin through a hammerstrap, I'd keep a close eye on the braces that come down to the sides of the ball in the GP hitch. At least on mine, the space between the braces is not very wide and I think braces might hit the hammerstrap when you turn unless you're really careful. Maybe hook it up and pull it around the yard a little to see how it looks before you go to the field. | |
