Subject: Yellow corn in volunteer wheat patches

Saronville NE
I notilled some corn inot old wheat and millet stuble this spring and got a real good stand, looked good early, nice and even emergence, now the corn that is in the windrows that were behind the combine are turning yellow, its about 5-6 leaf stage. It was sprayed with Roundup and lariat after planting. What could be causing this? Its 2 rows withing the old windrow behind the combine, it is even and as tall as the other corn, just turning yellow. Dug down this morning, roots look good to about 4-5 in, not much moisture till you get that deep either. Any ideas?
