Southern Illinois
Fortunately for us, Tar Spot has not made it to our area but I fear it’s only a matter of time. I always fear an early onset of Southern Rust as I have seen it decimate late planted corn but this Tar Spots sounds considerably worse and fungicide efficacy sounds ok at best. My biggest hope is it stays out of our area long enough that better hybrids can be indentified/selected/bread along with better fungicide treatment plans.

I think I have seen almost as much chatter about Tar Spot in corn as I have seen White Mold in beans and I want nothing to do with with either of them.
