I would agree with Caseihfarmer (???) and Deere equipment.
To avoid the headaches, you're probably better off looking for a Deere 2630 monitor and getting AutoTrac and RowSense activations. Probably about $8000. Expensive, but it will plug and play. No messing around. You can also get a John Deere ITC receiver with an iTC Extender where you have RowSense to get by for now.

All my equipment that requires at least some level of precision is Deere. Planter, Sprayer, Combine. I have an AgLeader in the tillage and anhydrous tractors since we don't do Strip Tilling or anything like that. Reduces cross training, and you never have a lack of monitors if one goes bad.
