Buffalo IL | Yes you should finish the heifers. They will be just as good as the steers. They will be lighter by about 100 lbs and may not have as big of Ribeyes and other cuts, but not a huge difference other than being lighter. The cows would make ok hamburger if you fatten them up and grain them a little while. However, I wouldn't expect them to be tender and not be a premium hamburger. | |
