I think I’m against cedar. Maybe if you cut them yourself. It seems most of them rot off in about 15 years now. Of course the ones put in in the 60s are still solid.

I’ve been doing treated corners and galvanized t-posts, no wood line posts. I did some with galvanized pipe corners. I won’t use non galvanized pipe, even if you paint it before you put the wires on, the wire just scratches the paint off and then the pipe starts rusting the wire.
