I’m in Otoe county too but probably about as far away from OP as possible. We’ve got sand spots on the river bottom that gave up, corn and beans both. Our sandiest field is in mid June planted beans after oat hay, still nice and green and just flowering. It’ll burn up eventually, but at least for now it’s still got potential haha.
