se Neb | I really don’t need it to control diabetes. My blood glucose was 117 this morning. Old Dr. 25 years ago said I was getting close so he put me on something as a preventative. The gov’t didn’t like it so he put me on something different. The insurance company didn’t like that one because it wasn’t generic, so now I’ve been on Metformin for at least 20 years. A couple years ago my dosage was increased from 500 to 1000 mg. New Dr. says Ozempic causes some weight loss which is why he wants to try it, but at $850+ per month, I’m wondering if it’s worth it. | |
