We used to have one at our county fair that seemed a lot like those you have linked to but larger and more crude. It ran off of steam. I was very young and don't remember well enough but I do recall that I was mesmerized by the mechanics involved, I could watch that thing all afternoon.
ANYONE here experience NICKELODEON machines in their lifetime?
