Okay, so I get that you guys (heck ALL of us) need a good rain before it tassels, but the corn in that picture does not "need tonights rain!" a bit of leaf rolling at V5-V6 doesn't hurt a thing. It happens most every year here. Is the weather pattern concerning? Yes...but lets not get overly dramatic just yet.

Some people have never put 25 bushel corn in a silage bag, or harvested zero bushel corn with a batwing mower- and it shows. I'd certainly trade every single acre of corn within 40 miles of where I am sitting for that corn in the OP, at this moment in time......
