Southwest OK | Forgot to answer about harvest. It started about two days ago with samples. Hasn’t really kicked off yet. Still a lot of green wheat out there. Latest I’ve ever seen it. It’s not uncommon to be done by now.
There’s definitely an art to running them. The horsemanship of the the roper can make it easier or almost impossible.
The man that owns these does an outstanding job of growing them. Has really good genetics and stout grass.
