Take W to 694, then either take 169 south or stay on 694 a few more miles and veer left onto 494 south around to 169 south. I would personally take 169 at he mid to late morning it should be good going, but 494 also is good. On the way home, if Janesville is your last stop, it probably makes sense to go 14 east to 35 and head north.
