Somewhere in North central Iowa | Hi Bernie.
Personally, I would just take 35 to 35E all the way thru the cities. Continue on 35 to Owatonna and then go West on Hwy 14 to Mankato.
Mapquest will prbably tell you to go around the West side of the cities and get on 169 but that requires a lot of getting on and off different streets. I would prefer not to especially with a trailer.
