Ne Nebraska | Drove from north east to south west Nebraska last weekend. Seemed from Burwell south was much greener than burwell north. We are goin to hurt here soon if no substantial rain. Not a dire situation yet like north of us, but we’re getting there. Glad we got pivots but that don’t help the pasture situation any.
Putting first cut alfalfa up now and it’s maybe 1/2-2/3 normal with lack of moisture and bad bugs. Won’t get much regrowth without more rain. | |
