Pittsburg, Kansas | Just a note, the Giant Sequoias are in a completely different area than the giant redwoods. If I recall correctly, they are both redwood species, but the Sequoias are huge around but not so terribly tall. They are to the south. The giant redwood forests, which are big around but are especially tall, are more to the north.
We have been through both and both on different trips and both are well worth visiting.
I suspect the parks will be packed this summer. The scuba diving shops in the Florida Keys are swamped. With the covid and limited airplane travel, they all came here to dive instead of going to the Caribbean. Wife and I among them.
