We have a management issue, or lack of it. Lambing was about April 1st. We didn’t identify which lambs with which moms. Now we’re thinking of selling some but not all. Is there some trick that we can use to make sure who’s who?
One expensive way - - - - genomic testing of both the ewes and lambs.
Another that will be expensive on time - - - - watch and catch at sucking - - - - assuming you don't have too many thieves.
I'm going to be following to see if there are any other methods someone has figured out. |
