Beresford, SD | Knife cut!!! No question. Did all my fall calves earlier this week. Weight 474-650. 14 bulls took less than an hour start to finish. Cut pope hat off. pull hard down. Separate the cord from the vein, gently pull vein, you’ll feel it break. The longer the vein the better.....1 1/2 feet is awesome. Cut cord high and tight. Trim fat. Splash of listerine, shot of Pen G. Be at the bunk that night. I use to band bigger ones. I’m done with banding all together. Banding is a joke!!!
