SE Nebraska, Near Misery and Cans Ass! | Read the post about grumpy coworkers and thought I needed to give an update on My much earlier "stupid attack". Myself and two other farmers have ended up in anger management classes. 250 mile round trip once a month after the first four sessions. We meet informally "over the fence" from time to time. We talk a lot about "how do you handle this". We talk about others that have similar problems and how we could help them. So far we are just working on ourselves. It is painfull at times. But what this has really pointed out to me is the complete lack of mental health care in rural areas. Man wish there was someplace closer for us to go and for others that can't afford the driving and time off. "Nuff said". |
