NW Iowa. / SW Arizona | I know this is probably a stupid post but I got to thinking this morning when I looked out my kitchen window in the pre-dawn light & saw a rabbit hopping along the snow looking for breakfast I assume. I was thinking it's been years since I've seen a jack rabbit around these neck of the woods ( NW Iowa). They were scarce when I was growing up & even shot some while on our weekly weekend excursions with my H.S. buddies (early 70's). I remember hearing stories of guys back in the 40's & 50's going out at night getting alot that way.
Anybody out there see alot or any jack rabbits in there neighbor hood any more? | |
