Subject: Soy's after litter application past spring?

tennessee
I put 2 tons of chicken litter out for my corn crop this year in the spring. I was dissappointed with the corn yield but don't think it was because of the litter--weather played a big role in that. My ? is, will most of the litter be available for soy's this year. I heard it takes a while for it to become available??? Maybe my corn did'nt get to use much of it, I'm new to spreading litter and hoping for some good beans this year.
