and it is going to hurt the poorest the worst. The same people that want to hand out freebies to harm the poor also don;t want them to have the basic necessities.
This is also quite relevant to what we just went through with the Wuhan Flu. The people making Covid policy that crushed small businesses, and the people who were most scared of the Rona and wanted to force everybody else to hide inside, were the ones who either had a government salary that never changed or had a job they could do sitting on the couch in their bathrobes instead of going to the office.
