Neighbor planted a field flat with a narrow row planter just the day before a 2.5 inch rain last week. This is flat ground and water stands in some areas for a short time after such a big rain. He has a stand of beans. I wonder if they would have been deep enough to come up to a good stand if it hadn't rained on them. If they would have been mine I would be replanting that field.
