| It depends on your preferences. If you want to keep everything off your stuff, ie bird poop, dust ,wind blown rain and snow, your had better build it as tight and enclosed as possible. if you just want protection from rain downpours and beating sun , a 3 sided one will work just fine. I have seen too many of the enclosed sheds with a door on each end,become about 1/2 shed and 1/2 driveway in the middle .In 1980 I built a 30x120 shed with 4 bays open to the south. only one has a door. yes snow will swirl in in a blizzard and some rain too in a bad storm. But its all usable space and protects stuff from the majority of the elements. But like every shed one builds, it should have been bigger. Other wise it has served me well. | |
