Embarrass WI | I have a 60x100x20 steel building that is open on the gable end that faces East/Southeast. I built it for storing hay, since I got out of dairy it's been machinery, since I've retired now it holds a few campers, the neighbors potato harvester, and the 2 groomers owned by the local snowmobile club. Birds are a bit of a problem in the summer, but they're mostly swallows and I let them live because they eat mosquitos. Last summer I had a couple pigeons, but a couple go-arounds with a shotgun outside the building took care of them. No birds in the winter.
I've been satisfied with the open end, I wouldn't hesitate to build another like it. Never gets any amount of snow drift in. | |
