Subject: RE: Spreading Manure with Rocks

We've got a Bunning spreader that we quite like. Had it 8 years so far and have had very few issues.

Keeping rocks out of your piles will help a lot. We like using a 20 ton excavator to scoop manure out of the feedlot. A good operator will skim the manure off and won't dig down to the rocks. We had way fewer rocks in the manure loading with the excavator than with a wheel loader or loader tractor.
