My neighbor has 3 big Meyer spreaders and takes the beaters off and drops the manure. Later on he spreads with blade works it in and goes back and picks rocks. Seems like a lot of work but it saves his spreaders.


I did this once cleaning out a lot that had some old foundation stones hidden in the mud. Drove a gear higher, and let apron chain distribute as much as possible. I spread it on pasture as close to tree lines as possible. After a few rains, went back with skid loader and pushed the big rocks into the woods. But I bet my 10 loads are nothing compared to what they are trying to do.
