Interesting. I was told by a Cummins rep that Dodge and Cummins agreed to make the necessary changes so that one could not access the Cummins ECM on Dodge trucks after the common rail engines came out. I've done it on '98 to '02 trucks with the VP44 pump, but have not attempted anything newer because of what I was told. Maybe that agreement changed some years down the road.
