There's two different types, the glorified disk type and then the straight blade true vertical tillage coulter type.  We run a Salford, Can pull it up over 10 mph no problem  Have had it up to 12, but it takes some power.  Have a 30' behind a 9420R, it handles it easily, next one would be a 36' but that's probably all you could handle at speed.
