We fed lic tubs year around for a couple of years thought it was fine until one year got hot and dry ran short on grass cows got squirting loose and thin , calves were light. I blamed it on lack of forage with lic tubs , we were also unrolling hay but didn't eat much of it because of the small amount of green grass that was available . We quit feeding lic tubs year around after that, will be interesting to hear what others have to say
