Do you have a grain cleaner? This may sounds like a crazy idea... but if you have a cleaner, wait for a killing frost then combine the beans as dirty as you can. The frost will kill the weeds and make it much easier to feed your Massey and will greatly minimize staining. ... being organic, if you combine them as dirty as you can you will remove a BUNCH of weed seeds,.. clean them back at the farm and burn the weed seeds.


Funny you mention that, I'm going to get one tomorrow.
So, open the concaves some, let the sample be pretty dirty and clean them at the farm should work out well for me?

Also honestly I'm not really worried about the weed seed for the most part. This farm isn't mine - and I won't be renting it next year, and i was lied to on the condition of this place so...as bad as it sounds I dont have much concern for what happens to it next year.
